Farmers’ protest: Delhi borders continue to continue to be shut, targeted traffic diverted

Border crossing factors to Delhi from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh continued to remain shut for targeted visitors on Friday due to the ongoing farmers’ protest against the three farm regulations enacted in September to liberalise the sector.

The Delhi Police have recommended commuters from Uttar Pradesh to just take routes passing by Anand Vihar, DND, Loni DND, and Apsara as Chilla and Ghazipur border crossings are closed.

The Delhi-Haryana borders at Singhu, Tikri, Auchandi, Piau Maniyari, Saboli, and Mangesh, way too, continue to be closed.

The law enforcement have advised commuters from Haryana to get alternate routes by using Lampur Safiabad, Palla, and Singhu faculty toll tax borders. The traffic from Haryana has been diverted from Mukarba and GTK Road. Commuters have been recommended to stay away from Outer Ring Highway, GTK Street, and NH-44.

Motorists can also consider the Delhi-Gurgaon and Delhi-Faridabad routes amongst the two states.

The protests have been likely on for 44 days now and farmers leaders will maintain a different spherical of talks with the Centre on Friday.

1000’s of farmers took out a tractor rally on Thursday close to Delhi as a “trailer” of their prepared march on the Republic Working day if the government does not settle for their needs for scrapping the guidelines, which they say profit major corporations at their cost.
